SERIE SECRETOS

El alma de esta serie la constituyen historias guardadas en los lugares más íntimos de la mente. Son evidencias de la vida que yacen silenciadas en lo más profundo del ser.  Son experiencias que están aparentemente aisladas, pero son innegablemente cercanas. Esta serie quiere representar esos silencios intangibles con objetos materiales y cotidianos, que presencian los vaivenes de la vida. A diferencia de otros artistas que utilizan esos elementos e imágenes para evocar el pasado, en las obras que componen Secretos, Lina Leal se remite a ellos para conectar esos tiempos con el presente, como evocación al cambio, a la transformación y al diálogo.

SECRET SERIES

The soul of this series are the stories kept in the most intimate places of the mind. They are evidence of life that lie silenced in the deepest places of our being. They are experiences that seem isolated, but are undeniably close. The series seeks to represent those intangible silences with everyday objects and materials that represent the fluctuations of life. Unlike other artists that use those elements and images to evoke the past, in the pieces that make the Secret Series, Lina Leal makes reference to them by connecting past times to the present so as to evoke change, transformation and dialogue.
